James C. Allen, of Peabody, MA, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012. He was 72 years old. Mr. Allen is survived by three sons; Steven, Eric, and Charles Allen, two daughters; Hope Allen, and Tammy Dalton, a sister, Carol Miller, 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, William Allen. James was a Leather Tanner for many years, and briefly served his country in the U.S. Army. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at 10:00 AM at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Rt 6A in Sandwich, MA
