Born in Buffalo, she lived in Solvay more than 35 years. She was a member of the Solvay Tyrol Club Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Alfred F.; three sons, Richard Knowles of Solvay and Donald and David Knowles of Liverpool; a daughter, Kathy Knowles of Syracuse; a brother, Melvin Bruns of Rochester; a sister, Doris of Buffalo; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home, Solvay. Burial is in the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Warners.
