Floyd, died Sunday, March 13, 2005. Born in Fairmont, N C., she was the daughter of the late James and Lela Bass Andrews. She was a registered nurse at the Baptist Hospital, now Palmetto Health Baptist Medical Center, for forty years retiring as head nurse. For the past twelve years she had worded as a volunteer at the hospital. Mrs. Floyd was a fifty year member of Main Street Methodist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher, choir member and member of the senior citizens' choir. Surviving are brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Edith Andrews of Laurinburg, N.C.; nephews and nieces, Velma (Charles) Lawson of Tallahassee, Fla., Betty (John) Rambo of St. Petersburg, Fla., Margaret DuBose of Florence, Alice (Lewis) Britt of Lumberton, N.C., Joan (Bennie) Taylor of Lumberton, Debbie (Ronnie) Smith of Lumberton, Jerry (Jane) Andrews of Raeford, N.C., Larry Andrews of Raeford and Darlene Garner of Raeford; and other nieces and nephews.
