Helen Belluschi, wife of architect Pietro Belluschi, passed away in Boston after a lengthy illness. She was 56.

Helen was born in Portland in 1905 and graduated from Grant High School. She married Pietro on December 1, 1934. In 1951 they moved to Boston with their 2 sons when Mr. Belluschi took a position in the architecture department at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Helen was survived by her husband, sons Anthony and Peter, one grandson, three sisters, and a brother. Her funeral and burial were held in Brookline.

2/13/2013 - According to Walnut Hills Cemetery personnel, Helen's remains were recently disinterred and transferred to an unknown place in Ohio.

Update 11/18/2013 - According to contributor #47847334 Helen's remains were reinterred at Lincoln Memorial in Oregon.
