Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, July 28, 1966: " Clement T. Stakem, 61 years, who operated a service station on Vale Summit Road, died today in Potomac Valley Hospital, in Keyser, W. Va. Surviving are his widow Ann (Urbas) Stakem, three daughters: Mrs. Patricia Garrison, Midland; Mrs. Noreen Smith, Piedmont; Mrs. Tony Tapacro, Annapolis; three sisters: Mrs. Henry Milford, Lonaconing; Mrs. Rosmarie Cheezan, Baltimore and Mrs. Theresa Rhodes, Arkansas; five brothers: Thomas J. Stakem, Midland; Lawrence J. Stakem, Baltimore; Joseph E. Stakem, with the Army in Germany; Paul Stakem, with the Army in Texas; and James B. Stakem, Silver Springs and seven grandchildren. The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home, Lonaconing. A requiem mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with interment in the parish cemetery."
