Johanna R. Beaver, 70, of Mishawaka, Ind. died suddenly at St. Joseph's Hospital of Mishawaka at 2:20 a.m. Dec 20.
She was born and raised in Rensselaer and was the daughter of Thomas and Bertha Murphy, who are both deceased.
She was educated in the Rensselaer Public Schools, was a homemaker and was affiliated with the Catholic Church.
Survivors include one son, Bill Beaver, of Osceola, Ind., one sister, Evelyn Smith, of Brook, and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Beaver, and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer after 11:30 a.m. Dec 22. Funeral services will take place at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home on Dec. 22 with Father Kenneth Alt officiating.
Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery of Rensselaer.
