"Services for William Kevin Stanmore will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Community Missionary Baptist Church, in DeSoto, Texas. On May 12, 2008, William Kevin Stanmore died in Grand Prairie, Texas. Mr. Stanmore was a graduate of Queen City High School, and he attended East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. He was employed with the United States Postal Service for 24 years. Survivors include his wife, Sheila; three daughters, Devon, Erin and Sydney; his mother, Beatrice; six brothers, Vernon Jr., Floyd, Freddie, Charles, Jerry and Dr. Roger Stanmore; and four sisters, Vernell, Linda, Cathy and Beverly. Visitation will be Thursday, May 15, 2008, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Queen City, Texas. Visitation will be Friday, May 16, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Community Missionary Baptist Church in DeSoto, Texas. Arrangements by Stanmore Funeral Home of Longview, Texas."
