He was a disable World War II veteran and a member of American Legion Post 6.
Surviving are his wife Ada Rene (Stroud); four daughters, Nora Lane Lee of Madisonville, Brenda Lee of Manitou, Betty Rickard of Hanson and Rebecca Blackburn of Princeton; four sons, Wayne and Kenneth, both of Hanson, Donnie of Madisonville, and Ronnie of Slaughters; five sisters, Adelene Christmas, Beatrice Martin, Myrtle Forker and Geraldine Daniels, all of Madisonville, and Betty Sue Falk of Chicago; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Services will at4 p.m. today at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Grapevine Cemetery.
