Mrs. Anna Mary Burtle, 71, of Glenarm, died at 9:45 p. m. yesterday at St. John's hospital, where she had been a medical patient since Thursday. She was the widow of Jacob R. Burtle, early settler and prominent farmer at Glenarm, who died in 1938. Mrs. Burtle was born June 17, 1874, at Parsons, Kan. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Francis C. Leahy, Glenarm; two grandchildren, Jacob Richard and Margaret Ann Leahy; three sisters, Misses Rose, Martha and Gertrude Jarboe, all of Parsons, Kan.; three brothers, John Jarboe, Parsons, Kan.; Walter Jarboe, Texarkana, Tex., and J. William Jarboe, Joliet. Remains were removed to the Willis funeral home, Auburn. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
