Darlington- Norma I. Anderson, age 68, of Darlington, passed away Thursday, June 21, 1990 at the Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County. She was born in Lafayette County on January 9, 1922, the daughter of Harry and Estella (Thompson) Brown. She was a graduate of Darlington High School. She was married on February 14, 1944 at the First Baptist Church in Darlington to Orville A. Anderson. She lived in the Darlington area all of her life, where she farmed with her husband in Lamont Township for many years after which she owned and operated the Elite Bakery in Darlington for a number of years. She moved to Darlington in 1971 where she has resided since. She was a member of Lamont Unied Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women, the West Lamont Homemakers and was active in senior citizen activites.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Al (Janice) Ruf of rural Darlington, and Mrs. Steve (Geralyn) Kohlstedt of Richland Center, Wisconsin; and two sons, Keith (Ann) of Browntown, Wisconsin, and Jerry of Monroe; a sister, Mrs. Otto (Dorothy) Munz of Monroe; 17 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1976; and a brother, Merle Brown in 1986.

Services will be held Saturday, June 23, at 11 am at the Lamont United Methodist Church with Pastor Larry Patten officiating. Burial will be in the Union Grove Cemtery, Darlington. Friends may call after 3 pm Friday at the Erickosn Funeral Home, Darlington.
