Charles E. Kelley of Dodge Street, Pawtucket passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.

Charlie was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Charles E. Kelley and Anne E. (Hickey) Kelley. He was in the United States Army Reserves for many years.

Charlie was employed by the City of Pawtucket, working at his beloved Slater Park, caring for the grounds, especially the flowers. He truly enjoyed being outside tending to the flowers and landscaping throughout the city.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Nancy Giblin of Pawtucket, his sister Judy Kelley of Rumford and his loving dog Bowzer.

The funeral for Charlie will be Saturday, February 2, at 8:15 am from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 9:30 am. His burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery.
