Son of Albert and Rosetta Hughes Avery. Married 2 April 1907 to Loretta Kastner. Father of Gerald. Avery was the builder of the Oak Grove Mausoleum in 1910 and was in grave vault manufacturing. Brother of Harley, Albert E, and Homer.
