Viveka Babajee-He was a Mauritian-born Indian model and actress. She holds the titles of Miss Mauritius World 1993 and Miss Mauritius Universe 1994. She was best known for her KamaSutra condom advertisements of the 1990s, and for her involvement in the so-called Metro Manila Film Festival scam of 1994. Viveka Babajee was born in Mauritius. She was the youngest of four sisters. Her mother is a Maharashtrian, who was born in Hyderabad. She came to India in the mid-nineties. She achieved success in India after her famous Kamasutra commercial. She has also been in music videos for Daler Mehndi's "Boom Boom" and Harbhajan Mann's "Hai meri billo." She achieved success with her earlier company, Cream Events, during 2009 with her ex-boyfriend and business partner, Kartikeya Putra. Later, because of some issues she broke all ties with Cream Events. As a model, Viveka walked for almost all the top designers including Ritu Kumar, Ritu Beri, Abu Jani And Sandeep Khosla, Rohit Bal, Suneet Varma, JJ Valaya, Tarun Tahiliani, and many others. In January 2010, she decided to start her own event management business and indeed started successfully with projects including an Arjun Khanna show at Taj Colaba. Her company was named "VIBGYOR ENT" (Lifestyle and Boutik Events). The word VIBGYOR is an acronym for the seven colors of the rainbow (Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange & Red). Viveka Babajee had also been an anchor for FTV India. She went on to do her debut film, Yeh Kaisi Mohabbat Hai, co-starring Deeksha and Krishna. The movie was released in the year 2002. Though the movie did not do well at the box office, Viveka's performance didn't go unnoticed. She was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her apartment on June 25, 2010 at her Bandra residence in Mumbai. Police reports says that Viveka committed suicide due to depression. The last page of her diary, which was found next to her dead body, had a message written on it saying- "You killed me, Gautam Vohra." Unconfirmed reports said that she got depressed when she broke up with her boyfriend, Gautam Vohra.
