LAURA E. CLEMENTS, 89, widow of James Clements Jr., formerly of Chester, died Monday at Christ Church Home Bala Cynwyd, after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Clements moved to Chester from Newburyport, Mass., as a young woman. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
She is survived by a stepson, Russell Clements of Walingford.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Christ Church Home, Bala Cynwyd. Burial will be in Chester Rural Cemetery.
NOTE: James Clements, Jr. was first married 1 May 1890, Delaware Co. PA to Anna M. Ledward, daughter of Josiah and Eunice (Holt) Ledward. James and Anna are the parents of Russell Clements and Given L. Clements.
He married Laura Emma Ford, 8 April 1907, Delaware Co. PA.
