Suggested edit: Miss Sally Francis, daughter of the late Hon. John Brown Francis and Elizabeth Francis, died yesterday at her home at Spring Green, Warwick, in the 71st year of her age. Miss Francis was the last of a family of four children. She was born in the town in which she was born March 31, 1834, and had lived all her life in Warwick. She derived her education from governesses and from schools in this city. She was a member of St. John's Church in this city, and, while not an active member of any charitable societies, she gave much for the benefit of the poor and unfortunate. She was very well known in spite of the fact that she was of a quiet and retiring disposition. Her sister, Miss Elizabeth Francis, died in 1901, and as the two had lived together all their lives, her death was a great blow to the surviving sister. In 1875 the Misses Alice and Sally Francis adopted a daughter of one of their cousins who was Miss Alice Francis, but who is now Mrs. Brown and lives at Spring Green. The funeral of Miss Francis will be held Tuesday at 12:15 in the afternoon.
