Annie Mae Simmons Rease Swain, 82, of Jones Creek,Texas, passed away on December 19, 2012. She was born November 5, 1930 in Crystal City, Texas. Ann proudly served in the Women's Army Corps (WAC) division of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, where she met her first husband, Eugene Augustus Rease Sr. She loved to travel, paint, and hunt deer, turkey & hogs. Survivors include her husband, Billie Lee Swain; two sons, Eugene Augustus Rease Jr. and wife Linda, and Richard Fount Rease Sr. and wife Colinda; two step-daughters, Cindy Nordin & husband Casey, and Theresa Villareal & husband Rudy; many grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Augustus Rease Sr., their son, Robert George Rease; parents, Fount and Desmar Greenhouse Simmons and step-mothers, Ruby Rhodes Cherry Simmons & Frankie Rhodes Glass Hunt Simmons. She was born as Annie Mae Judkins to Gladys Ritchie and Robert Ray Judkins, and adopted by the Simmons at age 2.
