DAVENPORT - Robert J. Jungjohann, of Davenport, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at Genesis East Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory. Burial is at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. today at the mortuary. Robert was born January 8, 1945, in Hondo, Texas, to Betty (Murdock ) and Robert Jungjohann. He was united in marriage to Mary Hahn on June 10, 1990, in Davenport. Robert had been employed as a dental technician for 18 years with Dentist Dental Services in Davenport. He had a passion for drag racing and was very active with the Cordova Dragway, Cordova, Ill. Mr. Jungjohann is survived by his wife, Mary; children and spouses, Troy and Valerie Jungjohann, Springfield, Ill., Hope and Matt Pena, Rock Island, Jennifer Hahn, Davenport, and Josh Jungjohann, Rock Island; grandchildren, Elodie, Stefani and Emilie, all of Springfield, Ill., and Alissa, Hailey and Katlynn Pena, Rock Island; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Chuck Moeller; and mother, Betty Jungjohann, Davenport. He was preceded in death by father, Robert.
