Rose was the daughter of William and Catharine McIntyre Latham who emigrated to Alexandria Virginia in the late 1790's from Ireland. She was a strong woman who buried three husbands-William/James Maglenon, Thomas Pearson and Frederick Vaccari. She and Mr. Maglenon had two daughters Mary and Catharine Margaret. There were no children from her last two marriages. She inherited homes from Mr Vaccari on the famous Captains Row of Prince Street in Alexandria and later passed them on to her two daughters.
