DAVENPORT - Services for Mary F. Dugan, Davenport, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Monday at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. A prayer service will be offered at 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Dugan died peacefully Thursday evening, Aug. 30, 2001, at Kahl Home for the Aged, Davenport. She was employed as a registered nurse for Mercy Hospital and spent her entire career in the pediatrics department. She retired in 1975 from Mercy Hospital. Before her nursing career at Mercy Hospital, she was employed three years with the U.S. Public Health Service in New Orleans and Galveston, Texas. Mary F. Flynn was born Jan. 22, 1919, in Davenport, to Leo Eugene and Blanche Monica (Hunter) Flynn. She married Thomas T. "Dick" Dugan on Nov. 10, 1943, in Davenport at St. Mary's Church. He died Nov. 1, 1979. She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. Her memberships included St. Mary's Church and Ladies of the Moose. She was a 50-year member of Daughters of Isabella, a 42-year member of Davenport Bettendorf Women's Bowling Association and a former board member of the bowling association. She was a lifetime member of Catholic Women's League. Memorials may be made to Assumption High School or St. Mary's Church. Survivors include a daughter, Frances Anderson, Davenport; sons and their spouses, Terry and Judy Dugan, Silvis, Ill., Tim and Geri Dugan, Davenport, and Brian and Karen Dugan, Eagle River, Alaska; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; a son, Kevin Dugan, on Feb. 3, 1984; a grandson; a great-granddaughter; a sister; and three brothers. May they rest in peace.
