Elsie Weninger Obituary
Elsie (Wangler) Weninger, 72, died in Arizona on Aug. 9, 2012, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. She was lovingly cared for by her husband of 54 years, Norbert. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at St. Richard's Catholic Church, Richfield, Minn., with interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, Minn.

A celebration of life with lunch and visiting will follow at the Point of France, Edina, Minn.

Elsie was born on the family farm near Napoleon, on July 23, 1940, the daughter of Valentine and Mary (Wald) Wangler. Elsie married Norbert in Napoleon on July 7, 1958. She was a wonderful wife and mother who lived with her family in Edina.

Survivors include her husband, Norbert; her sons, Jeff (Nina), New Hope, Minn., and Glenn, Bloomington, Minn.; her twin daughters, Brenda Weninger and Sheri (Terry) Rentzepis, Florida; her grandsons, Alex, Nick, Jake, and Quinn; and 10 siblings, Tony (Lucy), Mark (Luella), Frank (Florence), Alois (Erika), Julius (Pat), Abbott Brian, Valentine Jr. (JoAnne), Jim (Diane), Steve (Sherie), and Ann (Allyn) Wald.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
