Mrs. Campbell was born in Charleston, a daughter of John P. Sullivan and Lucy A. Corcoran Sullivan. She attended St. Patrick's School and Bishop England High School. She was a past president of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the BPO Elks Does and St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was the widow of R. Raymond Campbell.
Surviving are four sons, R. Raymond Campbell Jr., Thomas M. Campbell, Pat Campbell and Barry S. Campbell, all of Charleston; two daughters, Betty C. Burkhardt and Barbara C. Wade, both of Charleston; 23 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
