Barbara Ann Decker of Lubbock passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the age of 73. She was born April 29, 1939 in Paducah, Texas to W. B. and Pauline Tate. Barbara worked as a secretary for Friona Industries for more than 40 years before retiring.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Quinn Decker and wife Tandy of Gatesville; daughter, Tami Lucero and husband Ernie of Lubbock; brother, Bill Tate and wife Linda of Odessa; sister, Becky Bryant of Canyon; four grandchildren, Ashley Lucero and Trey, Whitney and Quincy Decker; one great-granddaughter, Phelicity Lucero; and several nieces.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Garrell Tate.
Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2012 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
