1922 roll call shows Hattie McCoskey and sister Carrie Swaim for the Prairie Creek Baptist Church, oldest church in Vigo. Hattie is also on the 1932 roll call

A resident at Oddfellows Home at Greensburg Indiana. She married 12 Aug 1923 Benjamin "Samuel" Barbeau, reportedly another resident there. He preceded her in death in 1927. She was admitted there on 9 Dec 1922 thru Lodge No. 685 of Youngstown, instituted in 1892 and to which her husband and son Ernest belonged. The record indicates the following: one living son, no living daughters, brothers or sisters. In their records, her parents in law were incorrectly named as HER parents.

Word has been received in Terre Haute of the death of Mrs Harriet McCoskey Barbeau, 83 years old, who died at Greensburg, Tuesday. Mrs Barbeau was the widow of the late Robert McCoskey, who formerly lived west of Pimento. She was a lifelong member of the Oregon Baptist Church near Pimento. Surviving are several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Members of the Odd Fellows Lodge will serve as pall bearers. The body was brought to the Gillis Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon.

The body of Mrs Harriet McCoskey Barbeau, 83 years old, who died Tuesday at Greensburg, was brought Wednesday afternoon to the Gillis Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon. Burial will be in Hull cemetery. She is survived by several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs Barbeau was the widow of Robert McCoskey, who formerly lived west of Pimento. Members of the Odd Fellows Lodge will serve as pallbearers.

(Death certificate indicates death occurred on the 29th, obits would indicate the 28th, which I believe is the accurate date, especially considering the travel time from Greensburg to Terre Haute in those days and with burial on the 31st)
