Mr. and Mrs. Fred Aiken of 3 Court St., who were married Sept. 9, 1902, in Union Springs, will mark their 50th wedding anniversary today. They have three children living in Cayuga County — Howard E. Aiken of 76 N. Fulton St., Mrs. Ray Pattington of Scipioville and Mrs. Richard Harmon of 88 Orchard St. Mr. and Mrs. Aiken also have six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Sunday, November 8, 1953, at the Langham Funeral Home, 91 E. Genesee St. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Scipioville, N.Y. Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p. m. Friday and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p. m. Saturday.

Funeral Sunday For Fred Aiken
Fred H. Aiken, 80, of Auburn, died Thursday night in Auburn Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in Venice, he had lived in Auburn 31 years. He worked for 20 years for John B. Alger, Auburn drayman. He was a member of Central Church of Christ Disciples.
Surviving besides his wife, Mrs. Altheda Olney Aiken, are a son, Howard E. Aiken, Auburn, two daughters, Mrs. Ray Pattington, Scipioville, and Mrs. Richard Harmon, Weedsport and six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services were Sunday at Langham's funeral home. Rev. Adelbert H. Tinsdall, Central Disciples church, officiated. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery, Scipioville.
