Wednesday, March 5, 2003 graveside in Oaklawn Cemetery. -Mr. Barker was born in Houston County, retired civil services from Robins Air Force Base and a WWII Navy Veteran. -Survivors include wife, Pauline Mathews Barker of Fort Valley; children: Joan and Danny Hicks of Douglasville and Vicky Brannon of Fort Valley; grandchildren; Bryan Hicks and Brett Hicks of Douglasville and Joseph Singleton of Fort Valley; brothers: Johnnie Barker and Frank Barker of Byron and Gene Barker of Athens. -Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 3312 Northside Drive, Suite 140A, Macon, GA 31210. -The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:0P.M.
