John Albert Garrison was the youngest child of David Thomas and Pearl Garrison born 21 Sep 1929. He was most diffently Pearl's baby boy. He enlisted in the Army on 6 Apr 1948 and was sent to Korea, where he was wounded. He was discharged 28 Feb 1953. John married late in life (1970) but very happily to Eleanor. They lived first in Michigan and then moved (about 1976) to Blounstown Florida. John died of cancer at the age of 53. Uncle John (nicknamed UJ) was a favorite Uncle among his nephews and nieces. Always ready to play any game with us and always laughing and affable. He will always be treasured in our hearts.
