Clermont, FL, passed away at home on Monday, February 23, 2009. A Florida native, Dale was born September 23, 1952 in Orlando. A graduate of Clermont High School his first career was as a journeyman electrician. He later turned to a career in agriculture. In recent years he put his considerable woodworking talent to use by establishing a custom furniture design/build business. Dale loved anything to do with cars, music and helping others. He found a way to find joy in each day, even when dealing with the challenges of cancer. Dale was a member of Montverde United Methodist Church, the Winter Garden Citrus Growers Association and a founding member of the Creative Lifestyle Solutions business group. Dale is survived by his wife, Linda; brother Lee Adams, and sister, Claudia Hannu; sister-in-law, Mary Daughtery and brother-in-law, Ken Willis as well as much loved nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place at Montverde United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 7 at 1PM.
Memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice or Samaritan's Purse.
