Glenn W. Bozard Dies At Hospital Monday, Dec. 31

Glenn W. Bozard, 61 years of age, passed away at St. Francis Hospital Monday, December 31 at 2:15 p.m., where he had been a patient for four weeks, although he had been in poor health for some time.

Mr. Bozard was born February 13, 1884(sic-1883) on Bozard Hill on the Five Mile, and had lived there all of his life with the exception of a few years spent in New Jersey.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Blanche Button Bozard, one son, Thurman Bozard and one daughter, Mrs. Irwin Noll and one grandson, Richard Noll, all of the Five Mile; his father Judson O. Bozard, who is now 90 years of age, two sisters, Mrs. Marcia Ford and Miss Ella Mae Bozard; two brothers, Arthur Bozard of Middletown and Howard R. Bozard of this village.

Funeral services were held at the Five Mile Baptist church last week Thursday afternoon at two o'clock, with the pastor, Rev. Robert J. Boer officiating, assisted by Rev. Benjamin hartman of the Seventh Day Adventist church of Olean. The remains were laid to rest in the Five Mile cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wesley Dunham, Charles Linderman, Douglas Cooney, Ernest Morgan, Lewis Mattison and Lionel Hitchcock.

Among those from out of town who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dyer, Mrs. Violet Prentiss, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Goodberry, Clarence Talbot, Miss Mary Kinney and Mrs. John Ritter of Buffalo, and Mr. and Mrs. George Newton of Bradford.
