Don Goering, 54, of Goddard, died Dec. 24, 2004. He was a Valley Center High School graduate. Service was Dec. 29 at Central Christian Church, Wichita. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, Newton.He was a farmer, craftsman and former eighth-grade science teacher at Goddard Middle School.He married Valley Center High School graduate Susan Mendenhall. She survives.Other survivors include Craig and Amber of Wichita, Brian and Erika of Dallas, Texas; mother and stepfather, Grace Goering-Voth and Marvin E. Voth of Moundridge; brother and sister-in-law, Ivan and Linda Goering of Sedgwick; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Glen Buller of Freemont, Calif.; grandchild, Isaac Goering of Dallas, Texas.A memorial has been established with His Helping Hands Ministry, in care of Central Christian Church, 2900 N.
