Minnie W. Grunewald, 83, of Howards Grove, with her family by her side, passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Monday, December 3, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Minnie was born January 7, 1929 in Sheboygan to the late Christ and Anna (Beck) Arnold. She attended Central High School. On June 21, 1947 she married Marvin Grunewald at the Parsonage of St. John's United Church of Christ in Sheboygan, he preceded her in death March 29, 2006.

She was a long time member of St. John's United Church of Christ Schwarzwald.

Minnie loved spending time with her family. She had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met. You couldn't help but feel that special warmth she possessed. Minnie had many friends and enjoyed traveling, playing cards with "the club", and going dancing with them.

She worked for the Howards Grove School District as a custodian and at Haysen Company for over twenty five years until her retirement. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxillary VFW Post 9924 of Howards Grove.

Survivors include her daughter Carol (Jerry) Hunt of Oklahoma, her sons; Steven, Dennis (Julyn) and Gary (Mary), all of the Sheboygan area, and her nine grandchildren; Jeffrey Fale (Cassandra Ray), Sheila (Doug) Scott, Jessica Fale, all of Oklahoma, Ryan (Sarah) Grunewald, Monica Grunewald, Nathan Grunewald, Bryant Grunewald, Joshua Grunewald, and Jared Grunewald. She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren; Maryssa Fale, Holden and Hayden Ray, Brandon, Dominick and Tristan Grunewald, Jocelyn Gahagan, Madison Grunewald, Britton Scott, her brother Alex Felsinger of Virginia, a brother-in-law James (Carolyn) Grunewald of Sheboygan, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Minnie will take place Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Zimmer's Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ Howards Grove). The Reverend Robert Hamilton, Pastor of St. John's U.C.C. Schwarzwald will officiate.
Entombment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
