She was born in Fairmont on Aug. 14, 1963, a daughter of Mary Wycoff Haught of Fairmont and the late Gideon Edward Haught.
She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church. Linda graduated valedictorian from Rivesville High School, earned a business administration degree from Fairmont State College in 1986 and enjoyed reading. Linda resided in Nevada for several years where she was last employed.
In addition to her mother, Linda is survived by a brother, Jim Haught and his wife Leah of Morgantown; a sister Carol Starn and her husband Gary of Grafton; her nephews and nieces, Scott Starn of Cleveland, Ohio, Craig Starn, currently stationed in Iraq, and his wife Katie, Jennifer Haught of Buckhannon, Billie Justus of Morgantown and Jamie Justus of Winchester.
Friends may call at Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, on Thursday from 4-9 p.m. and Friday from 10-11 a.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ralph Wycoff, uncle of the deceased, officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
