Mrs. Florence Blevins Leitze, 80, a sister of George Blevins, Wood River, died at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday in Jacksonville Christian Home where she had been for three years.
Before going to Jacksonville she had lived nearly all her life at Winchester.
One of six children of the late Mr. and Mrs. John R. Blevings, she was born Sept. 26, 1884, at Manchester.
Her husband, Charles E. Leitze, died in 1961, following the 50th anniversary of their marriage.
Surviving beside her brother are a sister, Mrs. Emma Chapman, White Hall, and nieces and nephews.
The body is at Woodcock Funeral Home, Winchester, where services will be Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in White Hall Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.

Mrs. Flossie Leitze Passed Away May 26, At Jacksonville

Mrs. Flossie Leitze, aged 80 years and 8 months passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 26, 1965, at 12:15 o'clock, at the Illinois Christian Home, Jacksonville. She had been a resident at the home for the past three years.
Mrs. Leitze was born September 26, 1884, at Manchester, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Blevins. She was united in marriage to Rev. C. L. Leitze, who preceded her in death in 1961. She was a member of the Lynnville Christian Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Emma Chapman of this city, and a brother, George C. Blevins of Wood River.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, May 28, at 2 o'clock, at the Woodcock Funeral Home, Winchester. The services will be conducted by Rev. Joe Hood, pastor of the Lynnville Christian Church and interment will be in the White Hall Cemetery.
