TORONTO-William W. "Bill" Dye, age 73 of Toronto, Ohio passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at the Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville, Ohio.
He was born Feb. 27, 1939 in Steubenville, Ohio the son of the late Walter and Anna Marie Frantz Dye.
Mr. Dye was a 1957 graduate of Jefferson Union High School.
He was retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co., Follansbee, W.Va. Coke Plant and was a U.S. Army Vietnam Era veteran.
Mr. Dye was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Fred Dye.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Spicer Dye; son, Richard Peterson of Rindge, N.H.; daughters, Christina Barz of North Jackson, Ohio and Billy Jo Thornton of Toronto, Ohio; and a sister, Sis Stine of Irondale, Ohio. Six grandchildren also survive.
Visitation hours for Mr. Dye will be held 1-3 and 6-8 Monday, Dec. 3rd at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.
A celebration service of his life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4th at the funeral home with Pastor Dirk Hall officiating. Burial will follow at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery, County Road 68, Toronto.
There will be full military graveside honors by the Toronto American Legion.
