LUCY M. FUNK EXPIRES TODAY
Mrs. Lucy M. Funk, age 66, wife of Lee W. Funk, died at 4:30am today at her home, 1330 West Fourth Street, following an illness of five years.
A native of Rush County, she came to Madison County with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gahimer, when she was nine years of age. Following their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Funk lived at Linwood, and then came to Anderson 21 years ago. The deceased was a member of the Old Wilson Christian Church, near Linwood.
The body was removed to the C.S. Nuckols Funeral Home, where it will remain and where rites will be conducted Thursday at 2pm with Rev. Richard Lentz, past of the Central Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery at Alexandria.
Surviving are her husband, one son, Leonard L., of Anderson; one daughter, Mrs. Beatrice R. Fox, of Anderson; two grandchildren; two brothers, David and Joseph Gahimer, of here, and several nieces and nephews.
