Martha Jane Beatty, 78 of Nashport passed away with her family at her side on November 23, 2012 at Genesis Morrison House.
She was born in Zanesville on January 27, 1934 the daughter of the late Wheeler Fredrick Davis and Ruth Ellen Tignor Davis. She was the founder of the New Albany Garden Club, she loved nature, animals, flowers and most of all her family.
Martha is the loving wife of 43 years of Harley Richard Beatty Sr., loving mother to Harley (Mary) Jr. And the late Deborah Ann Ashley. Cherished Gigi to Shawn (Tracy), Ami, Kelsey, Harley Austin, Jessica, Briana, Haley, Khatlyn, Logan, and Ryan. She is the beloved sister of Virginia (Norman) Powell, Fred (Audrey) Davis, Frank (Joyce) Davis, Helen (Gale) Ferguson, Bonnie (Robert) Hartman, Bill (Carolyn) Davis, Ruth (George) Smitley, Beverly Blockson, and George Davis. She is a dear Aunt, Cousin, and friend to many.
