Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Karolee Mair, was called to her heavenly home October 29, 2007. She was born August 23, 1940 in Vernal, Ut. The first child of Leo and Deon Hatch, she grew up in Heber City. She married Raymond Mair June 12, 1957 in Evanston, WY. Karolee worked as a teller at First Security Bank for 14 years. She was an active member of the LDS church. She served Heber Valley on several fair and school committees. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going "bumming" and to the Wagon Wheel for a Coke, bowling, making flower arrangements, and family picnics. In 1986 Karolee suffered an aneurysm and was confined to a wheel chair. Even in this condition, her positive outlook and sense of humor touched the lives of all those she met. She is an inspiration to all of us and will be dearly and daily missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, both parents, and baby son Dale. Survivors include her five children, David Ray Mair; Brent C. (Teresa) Mair; Marla D. (Jon) Berger; Wendy (Bill) Thompson; Kraig E. Mair, Daughters-in-law Suzanne Mair and Anjie Mair, one sister Dixie (Gordon) Mair, three brothers Marc (Brenda) Hatch; Mike (Lori) Hatch; and Kent (Kathy) Hatch, 14 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 11 a.m., with a viewing from 10-10:45 a.m, in the Heber LDS Eighth Ward Chapel, 1205 W 650 S. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday, at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 North Main, Heber City. Interment will be at the Heber City Cemetery..
