GUIDY - WARREN
Hymeneal
At the residence of the bride's father, Mr. Doc Warren, in Orange, at 6 o'clock yesterday afternoon, Miss Jennie Warren and Mr. Velvet Guidry of Fields, La., were united in marriage, Rev. J. L. Massey performing the ceremony.
Mr. Guidry is an industrious and worthy young business man of Fields, and his bride is well known in Orange, where many friends wish them much happiness in their new home, to which point they left on the night train.
At the same place and hour, Miss Katie Houser of Orange was married to Mr. Rufus Warren of West Orange, Rev. J. L. Massey officiating.
Miss Houser is a most estimable young lady, whose home has been with her grandmother, Mrs. Chilley, on Border Street. The groom is the son of Doc Warren.
The above two marriages was a very pretty ceremony, the one couple standing on the left of the father, while on the right stood the other couple, as the pastor made each couple one. After the ceremony the guests were invited to the dining room to partake of a nice luncheon. Only the relatives and a few intimate friends were present.
