Ruth E. Ihrke , 87 of Belvidere, formerly of Dundee, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2005 in the Biltmore Nursing Center, Belvidere. She was born February 24, 1918 in Dundee the daughter of Fred and Louise (Breseman) Ihrke .
She was a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in East Dundee.
Survivors include her sister, Annabelle Eickhoff of East Dundee; a brother Leonard (Gloria) Ihrke of Rockford; and a nephew, Vernon Ihrke of Elgin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 25, 2005 in the Laird Funeral Home, 120 S. Third St., West Dundee, Illinois with the Rev. William Yonker officiating. Burial will follow in Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee. Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 11:30 until the time of services in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Immanuel Faithfulness Fund of Dundee.
