Treasurer of Home of Innocents Was Active in Church Work.
Miss Adelia Kendrick Bangs, 55 years old, Puritan Apartments, for twenty-three years treasurer of the Home of the Innocents at 108 West Broadway, died at 4:45 Friday afternoon at St. Joseph's Infirmary. She had been ill at the infirmary since September 21, 1928.
Miss Bangs was born in Louisville, the daughter of the late John B. Bangs and Mrs. Adelia Kendrick Bangs. She was a member of Christ Church Cathedral and for many years she had taken a prominent part in the church work.
Her sister, Mrs. Thomas Willis of Hinsdale, Ill. and a niece, Mrs. Paul Wilson of Indianapolis, were at the bedside when Miss Bangs died. She was the niece of William Kendrick and George Kendrick, jewelers here and of Mrs. Maria Carter.
…Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery.
