Mrs. Frederick Wick (nee Mary E. Shelly), 547 Cedar Street, died of a stroke of paralysis at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, aged 64 years. Mrs. Wick had been in ill health several years. During the past week she suffered two strokes, one on Tuesday and another on Thursday. Deceased was a native of Leesport and was a daughter of Jesse and Catharine Shelly, both deceased many years. She had been a resident of this city about 30 years. Mrs. Wick was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Her husband is employed as night-watchman at the paint shop of the Reading Company. There survive one child, Mary, wife of Frank Shalter, this city; nine grandchildren, one brother and two sisters as follows: Susan, wife of David Griesemer, Griesemersville; Catharine, widow of Samuel Oswald, and Llewellyn Shelly, both of this city. WICK – In this city, on the 14th inst., Mrs. Mary E., wife of Frederick W. Wick, aged 64 years, 2 months, and 13 days. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral, from her late residence, 347 Cedar Street, on Wednesday at 2 p. m. Sevices at the house. Interment in Aulenbach's Cemetery.
