Born May 27, 1918 in Waterloo, Ok where he farmed and raised his family his entire life. He passed away peacefully, July 22, 2008. George was very proud of his sheep shearing and loved fishing after the boys finished building fence. He was preceded in death by his parents, George W and Allie Lewis Brentlinger, his wife, Ruth E. Brentlinger, two brothers, Ralph Brentlinger and Joe Brentlinger and three sisters, Elverie Brentlinger, Inis Moore and Laura Barnett. He is survived by his special friend, Marie Roden, his children, George Wilson "Skinner" Brentlinger of Edmond, Diane Manry and husband Melvin of Coweta, Ok, Bob Brentlinger and wife Jeannie of Edmond and John Brentlinger and wife Ana of Edmond. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Donations may be made to your favorite church. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008, at Waterloo Church of the Nazarene with interment to follow in Waterloo Cemetery.
