Judy L. Weaver, 72, of Ephrata, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at her home. Her faith in God was vibrant and strong to the end.

She was born in Hinkletown to Ivan and Almeta (Lausch) Hibshman and was the wife of Aaron Weaver. They were happily married for 54 years.

Judy was a member of the Blue Ball Church of the Brethren. She was a homemaker, faithful to her God given duties on earth, always thriving on serving others around her. She joyfully COOKED and BAKED for her large family and welcomed many into her home! Others were blessed through her encouraging cards and notes.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Audrey, wife of Ken Mull of Lebanon, Cindy, wife of Jay Laughman of Ephrata, Randy, husband of Wanda (Weber) Weaver of Detroit, ME, Brian, husband of Denise (Scott) Weaver of Ephrata, Lamar, husband of Jolynne (Kreider) Weaver of Stevens, Merle, husband of Aimee (Kauffman) Weaver of New Holland; 21 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Donald, husband of Eleanor Hibshman, Narvon, Sylvia Wanner, Ephrata, Victor, husband of Ruth Hibshman, Ephrata, Jerry Hibshman, Ephrata, Ivan, husband of Jolene Hibshman, Denver.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 11, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Blue Ball Church of the Brethren, 1005 Main St., New Holland (Blue Ball). There will also be a viewing on Monday, November 12, from 9 to 10 AM at the Middle Creek Church of the Brethren, 351 Middle Creek Church Rd., Lititz, followed by her funeral service at 10 AM at the Middle Creek Church of the Brethren, with Pastors C.B. Horst and Galen Weaver officiating.

Interment will take place in the Middle Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Judy's memory may be made to New Horizons Ministries, 1331 Harrison Ave., Canon City, CO 81212.
