Born on September 16, 1937, at Marianna, AR, daughter of the late Lebern Jefferson and Zara Hilton (Sartain) Key. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jack Eugene Adams in 2006; two brothers, Donald Ray Key and Jimmie Douglas Key; and a step-daughter, Rose Marie Fadler.
"Ann" as most knew her was born and raised in Southern Arkansas and married Jack Adams in 1960. They made their home in Jefferson County where they raised their family. She will be most remembered for her wonderful smile and great sense of humor. She loved to tell jokes and was an avid reader. She enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her four daughters, Rebecca Adams of St. Charles, Lisa Robinson of Sacramento, CA, Elizabeth (Mrs. Steve) Feldman of Festus and Kathi (Mrs. Tom) Elgin of High Ridge; one step-son, Frank Adams and wife, Liz of Fredericktown; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one step great-granddaughter; a brother, Wayne Key of Arnold; a sister, Toni (Mrs. Dennis) Rushing of Pevely; an uncle, Leon Key of St. Louis; and a special nephew, Lestel Rushing of Pevely. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
