Samuel Achenbarch Jr a member of Company K 112 Regiment Pa Volunteers was taken prisoner on the 29th of September last & died Dec 18th at the horrible prison at Salisbury NC. He was a son of Samuel Achenbach of Orangeville & was a worthy young man. He was taken prisoner while making a charge at Chapin's Bluff.
