Surviving are her husband Lavern Collins of the home; son Thomas Lavern Collins of Thomasville; mother Madge Jones Sarvis of Thomasville; sisters, Shirley Shaw, and Jo Dean Causey, both of Thomasville' and Betty Ann Fowler of Tabor City; brothers Michael Sarvis and Thelbert Sarvis both of Florence, SC., and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Promise Baptist Church by Rev. Donald Puckett. Visitation will be at J.C. Green and Sons funeral today from 7-9. Burial will be in the Holy Memorial Parl Cemetery.
