Mary moved to National City, CA in 1906 and lived with her uncle, Charles Sweet and his wife Hattie. She subsequently worked as the assistant post master, possibly postmaster, of National City by 1912 and married Charles Copeland in 1914. Mr. Copeland's mother was Mary Kimball Copeland whose family founded National City.
----A grave photo was requested and F.A.G. volunteer Kevin Brown investigated and reported that he searched the stated plot or section and could not find the grave. There are two Copeland' grave plots (Fred Copeland and a Charles W. Copeland). He checked with office and she is buried there, just that Mary doesn't have a grave stone.
