MRS. LOU ELLA PRINCE BARNARD

Services for Mrs. Lou Ella Prince Barnard, 70, of Rt. 2, Magee were held at 10 a.m. Friday from the Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Magee with interment in the Magee Cemetery. Rev. Frank Jones and Rev. Guy Gray officiated. Mims Mitchell Funeral Home was in charge.

Mrs. Barnard died on Wednesday, April 4, at the Ocean Springs Hospital in Ocean Springs, Miss., following a brief illness.

She was born in Smith County on Aug. 4, 1902 and was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church.

She is survived by 1 son, John Howard Barnard of Magee; 3 daughters, Mrs. Helen Farnham and Mrs. Vondell Miller, both of Ocean Springs, and Mrs. Nan Duff of Magee; 3 brothers, Jeff Prince and N. A. Prince, both of Magee, and James Prince of Lumberton; 2 sisters, Mrs. Elsie Dickerson of Mize and Mrs. Bessie Walker of Magee; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Billy Sullivan.
