"Dorothy Katheleen Johnson Sharpe, 83, of 2306 West Blvd., died Sunday, May 27, 2007, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
"Funeral services [were held] Wednesday at First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Winston Baker officiating. Burial follow[ed] in Westview Cemetery.
"Born Dec. 2, 1923, in Horry County, S.C., she was the daughter of the late William H. Johnson and Rosa Fleta Johnson. Mrs. Sharpe retired from Riverside Manufacturing and was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
"She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Sharpe.
"Survivors include four sons, John Thomas Sharpe Jr., Robert Lee Sharpe, Gilbert Charles Sharpe, and William Chester Sharpe; two daughters, Shelvie Jean Houston and Lottie Sue Houston; one brother, Aldean Johnson; three sisters, Novelene Smith, Alma Gilmore, and Betty Lou Dorsey; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren....
"Cobb Funeral Chapel [was] in charge of arrangements."
