Thanks to so many of you who have left virtual tokens on gravesites of ones I love, especially my daughter, Teresa (Traci) Lynn Fields (buried St Mary Cemetery, Hamilton County, OH). Traci was 16 years old when she passed due to Leukemia.

If you get a chance please view the following online tribute Traci's brother, Chuck, created for her for her birthday this year (2011).

Please leave a token for her if you can.

Sharon – As an after-the-fact, I read your Profile then viewed the number of memorials you have added. I can easily understand why you might prefer to transfer rather than review piecemeal EDITs for any one (or more) of those many memorials. Regardless, thank you for the unexpected transfer. More, thank YOU for your contributions to Find A Grave.
|Cari in Edmond||Ruth Stewart #6523709|
Hello. I submitted some edits last night to several members of the Stewart family in the Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, KS. I later saw that you had transferred some of those memorials to me. I then read your bio and realized why you transferred them. I want to let you know I am not a family member but rather a local history researcher and board member of a local history museum. As I was researching the Stewarts for a museum project, I discovered the family wasn't linked on Findagrave. Since I had the research in front of me, I thought I'd go ahead and request the edits to add to the memorials. I don't mind the transfer, but wanted to make sure you were aware that I am not related to the Stewarts, in case you are and would rather keep the memorials. Now that that's out of the way...sorry, I tend to ramble...one of the edits was declined - Ruth Stewart#6523709 - but was not transferred either. I had requested a link to both Ruth's father and mother. Would you like me to submit the edit again?
Also, for future reference, I want to be sure that I am understanding your bio correctly. You would like those of us with edits to go ahead and submit them, but you will transfer the memorial rather than making any edits. Is that correct?
Thanks for your time!
|G.B. Shamblin||RE: Edits you submitted|
I looked several times and never found a simple "Request transfer" on the memorial and even the help section offers no link to but through the Edit icon it brought us back around to email. :( I know I've done it before or maybe memorials were just transferred to me after an edit request. If you would like you could transfer 5286718 to me and I will make the relationship changes and maintain this relative of the family. Thank you.

Sorry--I'll request transfers. I read your Profile again and can't see anything about not accepting Edits! The first 2 paragraphs are duplicated, by the way.

Thank you for your work!
I was pleased to see a picture of My Grandmother's grave sight. I have visited it twice (years ago) and could find only Elmira's parents. She is buried there also, to my knowledge. Do you know if there is any definitive evidence of the exact location of her grave?
I was happy to learn about some of their movements. I recently learned that they were church planters. I have the family Bible listing her birth as September 5. Elmira and Joseph buried a child (Josephine Ethel) in 1898 and seven survived her (Violet, Henry, Annie, Leila, James, Clifford, and Edward).
Again, Thank you for your work.

Thanks so much for helping me with this memorial.
I don't think that we have any relatives from the 2 families you mentioned. They may have married some of my ancestor's relatives.
In Indiana, I have found family members from the Reynolds, Chamness, Beeson, Fields and Julian among a few other families. A number of our Quaker and other ancestors left NC in the 1800's to go to Indiana and Illinois.
Thanks again for your help!!!

|Lღve Fღrever||Thank You|
Thank you so much for remembering my father Elvin Rickard on his Angel Day. Our family has missed him, these many years; so it's so nice to know that kind and thoughtful friends like you dear Sharon, have taken the time to stop by his memorial to leave a beautiful note and flowers for him. It means so very much to me, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you always!
