I take lots of Tombstone Photos for my Genealogy Lines. Also the Churches they went too. Take some of the Homes/Apts.they lived in. I work on over 2000 family names. Started on this trying to Find out about my mother's mother Who Came on the Orphan Train from NY to Dubuque, Iowa after the June 30,1885 Iowa State Census. She was taken with three boys to Clayton county, Iowa. They lived on farms in Highland & Volga; & 2 of the boys lived on farm in Sperry Township. She later moved to Dubuque and married at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She was Adopted. Buried at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dubuque,Iowa. I am researching 1885-1890 microfilms reading everyday articles; searching for articles on the Orphan Trains. Printing all ancestors related articles, births, engagements, marriages, deaths, accidents... I went to NYC/Manhattan August 2015 to work on the Orphan Train, parents, land records, churches... I sometimes go to cemeteries in Epworth, Farley, Peosta, (all Dubuque county cemeteries in the farm areas) working on my relatives. I sometimes get information from the Rectories on relatives.
I submitted in person to the PAF Personal Ancestry Files in Salt Lake City, UT in 1991 that was online 1993 for SWEET/ARLEN family lines. The Sweet family lines are not related. At that time I was going with a Sweet. I lived in San Bernardino county, California for 25 years. Some of my siblings live in CA. So I take photos there also. I am using Ancestry.com now, submitting Courthouse records on ancestors...
